This is the outfit I wore on Saturday when I went out to High Tea with some fellow Perth fashion bloggers. We went to Rochelle Adonis and I got to catch up with some really great girls. It was quite a good week for catch-ups actually, as on Tuesday, I got to meet some Perth Mother bloggers too. It was awesome to finally meet the kids who I’ve read so much about and seen grow via the blogs too.
I got this skirt a couple of months ago to wear on Melbourne Cup day at home. I love the sequins but the soft pink makes it subtle enough (in my opinion anyway) to not stand out too much – so I feel comfortable wearing it during the day. DH calls it the ‘mermaid skirt’ though!
At this stage of pregnancy, I can wear most of my clothes but prefer to wear loose fitting shirts and tops. Jeans/Trousers are pretty tricky but since it’s Summer I’ll get away with not wearing these until it gets cooler. And by that time, I’ll probably have to wear a belly band with a long top or invest in maternity jeans.
I am now 22 weeks and I’m truly in my second trimester and trying to enjoy it before I start feeling uncomfortable. The kicks from Cashew are getting stronger and stronger, which is great as it reminds me that I’m indeed pregnant. Something you can easily forget when you are busy chasing a toddler around and it just feels that life revolves around them.
Have you met any bloggers before? What tips do you have with maternity style during second trimester?

the bump is invisible! I’m 20 weeks and I definitely have one. Found I yesterday we’re having a boy and this is our first. You look great!
Congratulations on having a boy! Your bump is actually smaller than mine…what I’m wearing above is quite an illusion. I’ll make sure the next one I’ll pull my clothes so you guys can see the bump more clearly!
WHERE IS THE BABY?
Girl you are looking great! And love that skirt, that is a keeper! You look great!
Don’t you look gorgeous! And passing the halfway mark is always exciting. Keep up those kicks, Cashew!
