The land of the long white cloud

I’m currently on a short holiday in New Zealand. It’s my first time here and it’s truly such a stunning country. We drove 3 hours yesterday from Christchurch and it sure beats a typical 3 hour drive in Australia. Such dramatic and different landscapes at every turn.
And everyone so far seems really friendly too – as I was expecting far worst since my Kiwi friends said I would be given a lot of grief for being Aussie – they must have been trying to fool me?!
The flight over was also very good and I have to say travelling with a toddler is a lot easier than a baby if there is a inflight entertainment involved. No need for a dozen toys or trips down the aisle to get the baby to sleep. I could actually watch some movies this time!

It’s so beautiful! It’s a short trip this time since we are here for a fun run. But we will definitely visit Queenstown sometime in the future during winter!
