We spent Australia Day at the beach. Your dad bought you the ubiquitous Aussie Day bucket hat which I’ve always associated with cheap tack but admit it helps with getting into the spirit of the day.
Two days before, you suddenly developed a nasty eye infection where your eye became so swollen you couldn’t even open it. Multiple hospital visits and antibiotics have thankfully helped and ruled out having to spend the day at hospital on Australia Day.
And throughout it all, you managed to keep in good spirits too.

I don’t normally like those hats but seeing it on Lily has changed my mind, just so amazingly cute.
I hope she doesn’t have any more eye problems, they are so scary.
Yes eye problems are scary and doctors are usually more cautious with that area. How is Eve doing with her eye now?
Hmm still don’t really like those hats but on toddlers and on Australia Day is an exception to the rule I guess!
